ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): President Asif Zardari contacted Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, informing him of the decision to form a government in Azad Kashmir.

According to sources, Shahbaz Sharif assigned the task of negotiations about the Azad Kashmir government formation with the PPP to the Muslim League Azad Kashmir Affairs Committee.

The Muslim League Committee includes Rana Sanaullah, Amir Muqam, with Federal Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal heading the committee.

Before the negotiations with the PPP, the committee started consultations with the Muslim League of Azad Kashmir.

Raja Farooq Haider said that it was decided in the meeting of the PML-N parliamentary party that we will sit in the opposition, the parliamentary party is firm on this decision, and there is absolutely no room for change in it.

In addition, in a statement, PPP leader Qamar Zaman Qaira said that the PML-N did not inform about the decision to sit in the opposition in Azad Kashmir; however, if our numbers are sufficient, an attempt will be made to form the government.
