President AJK urges Kashmiri diaspora to play role in highlighting Kashmir issue

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry has urged the Kashmiri diaspora to play its due role in highlighting the Kashmir issue and the ongoing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir at the global stage.

He said this while talking to Chaudhry Kashif Latif of Samahni who called on him in Islamabad.

The president said that the Kashmiri community settled in Belgium can play an important role in highlighting the Kashmir issue in the European Union as well as the European Parliament.

On this occasion, Chaudhry Kashif Latif invited the President to visit Samahani, which he delightfully accepted.

Meanwhile, President Azad Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the death of Chaudhry Abdul Karim, the elder brother of Minister for Rehabilitation Chaudhry Javed Iqbal Badhanvi.

Extending his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, the president prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
