KOTLI (Kashmir English): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Kotli leaders held a fierce press conference against Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC) member Mehran Khawaja for his indecent speech in a local hotel in Nakyal.
Earlier in a function in Charhoi, Kotli, Mehram Khawaja used derogatory language against Azad Kashmir Minister For Rehabilitation Javed Iqbal Badhanvi
The attendees strongly condemned the remarks of Mehran Khawaja against the Minister for Rehabilitation in the press conference and demanded an immediate apology from the JAAC member.
The conference was attended by the officials of the PPP Nakyal, PYO, PSF, People’s Trade Wing, and the workers of the PPP.
Speaking at the press conference, President Bar Advocate Chaudhry Zafar Alam, President PYO Sardar Waseem Mujeeb, Former President Anjuman Tajran Nadeem Jahangir, District Councilor Khizr Iftikhar, General Secretary Bar Association Nakyal Advocate Sardar Israr, Peoples Party leader Malik Ishaq and others strongly condemned Khawaja’s indecent and vulgar speech.
They said that Javed Badhanvi is a wise politician who has always promoted the politics of tolerance and has always used polite language for his opponents. Mehran Khawaja’s use of indecent words against him has hurt the hearts of millions of Badhanvi’s supporters.
“The atmosphere of Azad Kashmir is peaceful, but chaos and rude speech are affecting the peaceful atmosphere of the area,” the participants added.
The people in charge of the Action Committee should take notice and Mehran Khawaja, who spoke indecent words, should be removed from the post of Action Committee Azad Kashmir, PPP leaders demanded.
