ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced that it will form its own government in Azad Kashmir, according to sources.
An important meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of President Asif Zardari, which was attended by the political leadership of Azad Kashmir, including Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto, Political Incharge Faryal Talpur.
In the meeting, a strategy was decided regarding the in-house change and the formation of a new government.
According to media reports, the PPP maintained its decision to carry out an in-house change in Azad Kashmir in the meeting.
Sources say that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will formally announce the formation of the government on Monday.
There are 4 candidates in the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) for the new prime minister, including President Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Yasin, Speaker Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Secretary General PPP, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore and senior leader Sardar Yaqoob.
The Azad Kashmir House consists of 53 members, and the support of 27 members is required to form a government.
Currently, the PPP has 17 members in the House, while 6 members of Barrister Sultan’s group will also support the PPP.
