ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on a three-day official visit, where he will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit and present Pakistan’s position on various regional and global issues.
On the occasion of this important three-day visit to Kyrgyzstan, Federal Ministers Jam Kamal Khan, Abdul Aleem Khan and Attaullah Tarar have also left for Bishkek with the Prime Minister.
During his stay in Bishkek, the Prime Minister will address the important Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit as well as the SCO Plus summit and ensure active participation in it.
During this official visit, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will have the privilege of attending the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games as a special guest.
In addition, the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of various countries participating in the SCO summit in Bishkek, in which detailed discussions will be held on mutual relations, trade and investment, regional cooperation and other matters of mutual interest.
During the visit, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will also hold a special bilateral meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, in which all aspects of relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan will be comprehensively reviewed.
During this visit, important discussions will also be held on further expanding and strengthening cooperation between the two countries in various sectors, including trade and investment, energy, regional ties, education, tourism and promotion of people-to-people ties.
