ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The Ministry of Industries & Production has successfully held the first-ever Pakistan Accelerated Vehicle Electrification (PAVE) Scheme e-balloting to distribute subsidized electric two- and three-wheelers among citizens of Pakistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

The balloting was facilitated with the help of the Engineering Development Board (EDB).

The secure online voting was conducted through the PAVE Online Portal. The watchful eye of the appointed Balloting Oversight Committee, to preserve transparency, fairness, and equal opportunity for all. applicants.

40,000 Eligible for PM electric bike scheme 2025

The ministry informed that 269,161. Applications were submitted, out of which 40,000 cleared in the e-balloting.

During the online draw, 40,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,000 electric three-wheelers were distributed among successful applicants.

How to Check the Draw List

The ministry further stated that applicants shall be informed through the online portal with their CNIC or Application ID. Subsidy disbursement, payment facilitation, and vehicle delivery shall occur through approved procedures, with OEMs being at fault for delivery, after-sales service, and warranty compliance.

Federal Secretary for Industries and Production, Mr. Saif Anjum, launched the e-balloting, terming it a landmark milestone in Pakistan’s shift towards clean and sustainable mobility.

Subsidy Limit

Subsidy of Rs 50,000 on two-wheelers will be given under bank leasing, and PKR 80,000 for self-financed deals.

For three-wheelers, the subsidy of PKR 200,000 (bank leasing) and PKR 400,000 (self-finance) will be given.

He further said that the PAVE Scheme, in conjunction with the NEVP 2025–30, is anticipated to create over 100,000 new green employment opportunities, spur local production, and empower Pakistan’s industrial sector.
