MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): In a strong message to New Delhi, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (PM AJK) Chaudhry Anwarul Haq warned that if Indian authorities attempt to divert rivers, “we will change both its history and geography.” His statement came during an exclusive interview with Azaad Digital amid rising regional tensions.

Previously, PM AJK claimed that India is actively plotting to destabilise the region. Speaking at the All Parties Kashmir Conference in Muzaffarabad, he emphasised the urgent need for Pakistan’s political leadership to stand firmly alongside the military in resisting Indian aggression with unity.

Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, has strongly criticised the Indian government, accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi of continuing a dangerous legacy of false flag operations like those in Pulwama and Pahalgam. “These tactics have now failed,” said PM AJK, adding that Modi stands exposed on the global stage for using terrorism as a tool of state policy for the past 15 years.

He called the 2002 Gujarat riots a clear example of Modi’s fascist mindset, warning that the world must rid itself of such extremist thinking before it threatens not just India but the entire region. “The kind of fascism Modi represents is a serious risk to regional stability,” PM AJK stated.

Highlighting Pakistan’s relationship with China, the prime minister said, “Chinese support has never been silent. For four generations, we’ve echoed: Long live Pak-China friendship. Their diplomacy may have a different style, but China has never abandoned Pakistan, not in any circumstances. They have always stood with us.”

Speaking about India’s use of water as a potential weapon, PM AJK revealed that Pakistan had already taken protective measures, which is why recent Indian actions had failed to cause damage. However, he issued a stern warning: “If India tries to divert river waters, we will change both its history and geography.”

He praised the current leadership of Pakistan’s armed forces, particularly the Army Chief. “Those who know him are also aware of his clarity of thought. His response comes in nanoseconds, and his doctrine is clear to all,” he said.

In a message to the people of Kashmir, PM AJK said, “A prosperous and strong Pakistan is the only guarantee of the success of the Kashmir freedom movement. Our bond with Pakistan is not just geographical, it is rooted in faith, loyalty, and sacrifice.” He concluded by saying that Kashmiris have written the story of freedom in their blood for three generations and vowed that this struggle would continue until the sun of liberty rises over Srinagar.

He urged future generations to remain committed to this cause, calling it a national, ideological, and historical duty to protect and fulfil the dream of a free Kashmir.
