PM AJK inagurates THQ Hospital Khursheedabad, Police Station in Mumtazabad

HAVELI (Kashmir English): The Prime Minister of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, on Wednesday inaugurated the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Khursheedabad and a new Police Station in Mumtazabad.

He made these inaugurations during his one-day visit to Haveli district, where he visited Mumtazabad, Farward Kahuta, Khursheedabad, and other towns, addressing hundreds of people and announcing several development projects.

While addressing a gathering in Khursheedabad, he announced several projects, including the upgradation of Boys Inter College to a Degree College, the construction of Mori Bridge, Reji Bridge, Civil Court in Khursheedabad, and 5 km of Khursheedabad-Reji Road.

Moreover, the premier laid the foundation stone of a 2.71 megawatt hydro power project in Khursheedabad worth Rs 1.7 billion. While talking to the gathering, Rathore further said that the Farward Kahuta Town Committee has been given the status of a Municipal Corporation, and the new Khursheedabad Town Committee has been notified.

On this occasion, Minister for Information and Religious Affairs Chaudhry Muhammad Rafique Nayyar, Masood Mumtaz Rathore, Special Adviser to PM Mubashir Munir Awan, members of the District Council, Director Public Relations Raja Amjad Hussain Minhas, and others were also present.

While addressing a gathering in Mumtazabad, Prime Minister Rathore announced the establishment of Mumtazabad as a town committee and Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in the city, along with the construction of the Batakot Bridge, Jaun Nala Bridge, and Mumtazabad Stadium.

“The CDC of Padar Pul is being done, and the main highway of Haveli will be made a double-way road,” he added.

Talking to the people, Rathore said that the people of Haveli must realize that their elected representative is the Prime Minister of the entire state, and the responsibility of the entire state is on him.

“We have to brighten the future of the youth in a short period of tim and we all have to fight against poverty and unemployment together,” he said, adding that this government has been given by the grace of Allah. “We organized tourism festivals in the Haveli and promoted brotherhood and peace.”

The Prime Minister specially thanked the people of Haveli for the exemplary welcome.
