ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Friday decided to keep the petrol price in Pakistan unchanged at Rs264.61 per litre, while reducing the High-Speed  Diesel (HSD) for the next fortnight.

According to the notification issued by the Finance Division, the price of diesel has been reduced by Rs 3 per liter, with the new price being Rs 269.99/liter. The new prices will be effective from September 01, 2025

Similarly, the Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been reduced by Rs 2.40 per liter. The government also slashed the price of kerosene oil by Rs 1.46 per liter.

“The government has decided to revise the petroleum product prices for the fortnight commencing September 01, 2025, in line with the recommendations of OGRA and the concerned ministries,” the notification reads.
