ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): DG Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa issued orders to all field offices to upgrade IT infrastructure and expedite the implementation of passport applications.
Ali Randhawa chaired a meeting with all zonal heads, in which he issued instructions to make security and safety arrangements in passport offices more effective so that the safety of the public and staff can be ensured.
The meeting also directed that a double-screen system be installed at all passport data entry counters so that applicants can view, verify, and correct their personal information themselves.
He directed that effective arrangements for the safety and security of the public and staff in the offices be made, emphasizing a safe, orderly, and secure environment in the offices, clear entry and exit routes, proper emergency arrangements, and other necessary safety measures.
The DG Immigration and Passports directed that effective implementation of all measures should be ensured to provide better, secure, transparent and effective passport services to the public.
