Pakistani player makes history with a double hat-trick

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad Region fast bowler Muhammad Musa made history by taking a double hat-trick in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025-26.

In a match played at Diamond Cricket Ground Islamabad in the last round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Muhammad Musa took 4 wickets in 4 balls against Peshawar.

First double hat-trick in 10 years

Muhammad Musa’s brilliant performance is the first double hat-trick in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in the last 10 years.

Muhammad Musa achieved this feat in the second innings against Peshawar, having also taken 5 wickets in the first innings.

Thanks to Muhammad Musa’s brilliant bowling, Islamabad defeated Peshawar by an innings and 77 runs and concluded their journey in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy with an improved performance.

Meanwhile, defending champions Sialkot secured a spot in the five-day final of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Cricket Tournament, where they will face Karachi Blues. The final will begin on December 1 at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.

According to the PCB, Bahawalpur defeated Faisalabad by 4 wickets in the ninth and final round of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

There was a tough competition between Faisalabad and Sialkot to reach the final, but Sialkot secured a place in the final with 155 points, while Faisalabad had 141 points. Karachi Blues had already qualified for the final with 161 points.
