MUSCAT (Kaahmir English): Pakistan has won the world title for the second time after showing a brilliant performance in the IBSF Snooker Team World Cup.
In the final held in Muscat, the Pakistani team consisting of Muhammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal defeated Hong Kong 2-3 after a thrilling match.
In the deciding frame, Asjad Iqbal paved the way for victory by playing a brilliant break of 104.
The Prime Minister congratulated the nation on this historic victory of the Pakistani team.
Praising the abilities of Muhammad Asif and Asjad Iqbal, he said that Pakistani players have brought glory to the country by winning the World Cup with excellent skills and full confidence.
