MULTAN (Kashmir English): Pakistan Gold defeated Pakistan Greens to win the National Champions Cup One-Day Cricket Tournament.
Thanks to centuries by Shamil Hussain and Saad Khan and a hat-trick by captain Shaheen Afridi, including a 7-wicket performance, Pakistan Gold defeated Pakistan Greens by 101 runs in the Champions Cup One-Day Tournament.
Pakistan Gold won the toss in the final played at the Multan Cricket Stadium and elected to bat first.
The team was bowled out for 340 runs on the last ball of the innings, with Saad Khan and Shamil Hussain scoring centuries while batting brilliantly. Saad Khan scored 112 runs, and Shamil Hussain scored 111 runs.
Faheem Ashraf, Shadab Khan and Naseem Shah took 2 wickets each for Pakistan Greens.
Chasing a target of 341 runs, Pakistan Greens were bowled out for 239 runs in the 38th over due to devastating bowling by Shaheen Afridi. Saad Baig scored 67, and Umair Yousuf scored 44.
Pakistan Gold captain Shaheen Afridi took 7 wickets for 36 runs, including a hat-trick, while Razaullah, Mubashar Khan and Faisal Akram took one wicket each.
