PASHIN (Balochistan) (Kashmir English): Pakistan security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by terrorists in a Pashin area at the Afghanistan border, said security sources on Sunday.
The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation near the Pak-Afghan border against a formation of 7 Khawarij insurgents, resulting in the killing of all the seven.
Terrorists operate from Afghanistan
According to sources, the Khawarij formation was attempting to infiltrate with the aim of sabotage, under the direction of Khawarij commander Baseer.
They said Khawarij commander Naseer is the mastermind behind the attack on FC Headquarters on September 30.
Security forces, adopting timely and effective strategy, eliminated the terrorist formation and cleared the area.
