Further details emerge about terrorist camps targeted inside Afghanistan

KABUL (Kashmir English): On Saturday night, Pakistan carried out intelligence-based air strikes, destroying seven centres of the Khawarij TTP in three provincesof Afghanistan; Nangarhar, Paktika, and Khost.

It has been confirmed that over eighty Khawarij were killed in the strike, with more expected.

The destroyed terrorist centres include: New Markaz (Centre) No. 1, Nangarhar; New Centre No. 2, Nangarhar; Khawariji Maulvi Abbas Centre, Khost; Khawariji Islam Centre, Nangarhar; Khawariji Ibrahim Centre, Nangarhar; Khawariji Mullah Rahbar Centre, Paktika; and Khawariji Mukhlis Yar Centre, Paktika.

In the border areas of Khost province, which are under the control of the Haqqani network, Bilal Khan (Swat), Asadullah (Khyber), Tahir Hussain (Mianwali), Shoaib Ahmad (North Waziristan), Fayyaz Khan (Dir Bala), Noman Ahmad (Khyber), Rahmatullah (Paktika), Arif Khan (Nangarhar) and Farooq Ahmad (Kapisa) were killed in the camps.

Similarly, during the operation on the centers located in Khogyani, Ghani Khel and Behsud districts of Nangarhar, it has been confirmed that Naik Muhammad (Kandahar), Ahmad (Mingora Swat), Fazal Ahmad (Kalam Swat), Nasir (Khyber), Habib (Miran Shah), Shafiq (Bahawalpur), Sami (DG Khan), Karim (Bannu), Rafiq (Kala Swat), Nemat and Yasir (North Waziristan) were killed. Security sources say that the terrorists present in these centers were involved in attacks on civilians and security forces in Pakistan.
