ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has carried out precision aerial and drone strikes against terrorist hideouts and support infrastructure at 10 locations in areas under the control of the Afghan Taliban regime, according to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Atta Tarrar.
In a statement, the military said the strikes comprehensively destroyed terrorist hideouts as well as drone launching and storage facilities linked to attacks inside Pakistan.
According to ISPR, the targeted sites were associated with terrorist attacks against unarmed Pakistani civilians and the alleged drone intrusion from Afghan territory on September 23, which Pakistan said was successfully thwarted by its air defence systems.

The military said the operation was conducted through precise aerial and drone strikes and released footage showing the strikes on the targeted locations.
Pakistan maintained that the targeted infrastructure was being used in activities posing a threat to Pakistan’s territorial security and its citizens.
The ISPR said Pakistan would continue to defend its territorial integrity and protect the lives and property of its citizens against what it described as externally sponsored, sheltered and abetted threats operating through terrorist proxies.
The development comes amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan following a series of cross-border incidents and allegations by Islamabad that militant groups are using Afghan territory to plan and carry out attacks inside Pakistan.
