The Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force conducted an important mission against terrorists located in Afghanistan. Following the drone strike on the territory of Pakistan, the country retaliated with accurate attacks, demolishing several terrorist shelters in the provinces of Paktika and Kandahar.
As a result of these attacks, terrorist bases were eliminated. On Tuesday, the Pakistani military and Air Force successfully intercepted and brought down eight hostile drones coming from Afghanistan.
On Wednesday, security officials said in a statement that these drones had entered the airspace of Pakistan in the morning; however, they had been promptly detected and stopped before reaching their target, as the security atmosphere of the country is protected by high-tech air defense systems of the Armed Forces.
