Pakistan army organizes modern training session for Jhelum police to combat terrorism

JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): Given the threats of terrorism, modern training is being provided to police personnel in collaboration with the Pakistan Army to enhance the professional capabilities of the police force.

The main goal of this training program is to prepare police personnel to deal effectively with terrorism, emergencies, and other challenges.

SP Jhelum Valley, Mirza Zahid Hussain, paid a special visit to the training center, where he inspected the ongoing training activities in detail.

He further met with senior officers of the Pakistan Army while observing various training stages, appreciating the skills, enthusiasm, and professional performance of the personnel.

Addressing the training personnel, Mirza stated that the current situation of Pakistan demands that the police force be ready to deal with every challenge at all times. He said that terrorism is a common enemy against which all institutions will have to work in solidarity.

On this occasion, SP Mirza Zahid Hussain paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces and said that the role of the Pakistan Armed Forces in the security and survival of Pakistan is unforgettable.

Additionally, he announced his full support for the stance of the Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir regarding national security and said that the entire nation stands with its brave forces and leadership.

Mirza Zahid Hussain also thanked the training experts who introduced the police personnel to modern combat training, the use of weapons, rescue operations, and counter-terrorism techniques.
