MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Like the rest of the country, Pakistan Resolution Day is being celebrated with national enthusiasm on March 23 in Azad Kashmir.
On this occasion, a grand ceremony was organised by the Pakistan Army at Neelum Stadium, Muzaffarabad, in which paragliders from different provinces of the country participated and presented a magnificent aerial display.
The ceremony also included flag hoisting, national songs, and programs based on national unity, which were enjoyed with great enthusiasm by the public.
The Pakistan Army made special efforts for the success of the event, which was greatly appreciated by the participants.
The participants of the event appreciated the efforts of the Pakistan Army, saying that such events not only increase self-confidence among students but also provide an opportunity for the local community to come closer to the Pakistan Army.
A citizen said, “Today, a wonderful event was held in Muzaffarabad like other cities of the country, which gave the people an opportunity to have fun and participate in the national enthusiasm.”
The only female paraglider in the ceremony also gave a magnificent aerial display. She said, “Our Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are the best places for paragliding. Azad Kashmir is the safest place for women. I go all over Pakistan, but Kashmir is the best place for paragliding.”
