RAWALAKOT (Kashmir English): The Pakistan Army organized free medical and veterinary camps in Rawalakot and Bagh districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, providing medical assistance and essential medicines to residents and livestock owners.
A free medical camp was established at Pak Baldia Adda in Rawalakot to facilitate citizens facing difficulties in accessing healthcare facilities amid ongoing protests in the area.
A total of 97 patients were examined free of charge, while medicines and health-related guidance were also provided.
Residents appreciated the initiative and thanked the Pakistan Army for arranging medical facilities for the community.
Meanwhile, a free veterinary camp was also organized in Bagh district under the auspices of the Pakistan Army.
Livestock and pets belonging to residents were examined and provided with necessary medicines. According to the details, 1,196 animals and birds, including buffaloes, cows and horses, received free treatment at the veterinary camp.
The local population of Bagh welcomed the initiative, appreciating the provision of free veterinary treatment and medicines to help protect the health of their livestock and pets.
