JHELUM VALLEY (Kashmir English): On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, food packages were distributed among deserving and needy individuals by the Pakistan Army in Chakothi, an area located near the Line of Control.
On this occasion, the Pakistan Army not only tried to alleviate the financial difficulties of deserving families but also conveyed a practical message of including them in the joys of Eid.
According to details, in view of the approaching Eid-ul-Fitr, the Pakistan Army distributed food packages among deserving families in Chakothi, Khallana Valley, and surrounding areas.
The ration included essential food items so that poor and needy individuals could also celebrate the joys of Eid with their families.
Pakistan Army officers attend ceremony
During the distribution of food packages in Chakothi, a ceremony was held which was attended by Pakistan Army officers, Assistant Commissioner Hattian Bala, the director of the Milan Smile welfare organisation, and others.
On this occasion, a free medical camp was also organised by the Pakistan Army, where local people received free medical check-ups and patients were provided with free medicines.
At the medical camp, Pakistan Army doctors and medical staff examined a large number of patients, while special medical facilities were also provided to children, women, and the elderly.
Local people praised this initiative of the Pakistan Army, saying that the Pakistan Army’s service to the public and support in their difficulties, alongside protecting the borders, is commendable.
The deserving individuals thanked the Pakistan Army for providing food packages and free medical facilities.
It is noteworthy that with the arrival of Eid-ul-Fitr, while there is an atmosphere of joy everywhere, the Pakistan Army is also setting a high example of humanity by sharing in the happiness of the poor and needy under the spirit of public service.
The locals said that the Pakistan Army takes special care of the public in every good and bad time, for which they thanked the Pakistan Army and the Commanding Officer of the Chakothi Sector.
The deserving individuals said that the Pakistan Army is not only protecting the borders but is also at the forefront of serving the public.
The locals further said that such welfare initiatives strengthen the bond of trust and love between the public and the army.
Local people say that such initiatives taken by the Pakistan Army not only help deserving families but also promote the spirit of brotherhood and unity in society.
