ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, while giving a strong response to the provocations by Afghanistan in the border areas, has said that the Pakistan Army, under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, gave a full and decisive response to the enemy.

PM Shehbaz stated that the Pakistan Army destroyed several Afghan posts and forced them to retreat, and paid great tribute to the Pakistani forces for this strong response.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in his statement that he is proud of the professionalism of the Pakistani forces, there will be no compromise on the defense of Pakistan, and every provocation will be given a full and effective response.

He said that our defense is in strong hands, we know how to defend the country’s every corner, the Pakistan Army has always given a befitting reply to all kinds of external aggression, and the entire nation stands with the security forces of Pakistan.

The Prime Minister further said that terrorist organizations are supported by elements present in Afghanistan, Pakistan has given Afghanistan information about the Fitna al-Kharij and Fitna al-Hindustan there many times.

He said that information was given about those who carried out operations against Pakistan from the soil of Afghanistan, and it is expected that the Afghan government will ensure that its soil is not used against Pakistan.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also strongly condemned the unprovoked aggression by Afghanistan on Pakistani territories and paid great tribute to the Pakistan Army for responding bravely to the Afghan aggression.

Additionally, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, said that the Pakistan Army is the bearer of the honor, pride, determination and dignity of the entire nation. The Pakistani forces responded to the Afghan aggression with courage, wisdom, and national unity as always.

He said that Pakistan’s borders are a sacred trust, and it is the duty of every Pakistani to protect them. The response to the Afghan aggression is a message that the Pakistani soil is the guarantor of peace, not a sign of weakness. We want peace, but there will be no compromise on the integrity of Pakistan or the security of its citizens.
