LAHORE (Kashmir English): The Pakistan cricket team has been officially announced for the Hong Kong Sixes 2026 tournament, with Abbas Afridi once again retained as the national team’s captain.
This exciting three-day tournament will take place from October 30 to November 1, featuring 12 teams from around the world. These teams have been divided into four groups, with Pakistan placed in Group C.
Raza Kichlu will serve as the national team’s manager for the tournament. In addition to captain Abbas Afridi, the squad includes Abdul Samad, Ahmed Daniyal, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Khawaja Nafay, Muhammad Shahzad, and Saad Masood. The national squad will depart for Hong Kong on October 28 to participate in the event.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan team delivered a stellar performance to clinch the title in last year’s Hong Kong Sixes tournament; the ‘Green Shirts’ will take the field this time as well, determined to repeat that success.
