Pakistan allows Bangladeshi Biman Airlines to operate direct flights

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Direct air links between Pakistan and Bangladesh restored on the first day of the new year as Pakistan allowed Biman Airlines to operate direct flights.

News of aviation links between Pakistan and Bangladesh for the new year 2026 emerged as important progress was made regarding the restoration of direct air links between the two countries.

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority allowed Biman Bangladesh Airlines to operate direct flights from Dhaka to Karachi.

At the same time, immediately after the government’s approval, the DGCAA issued an NOC to the Bangladeshi airline for direct flights to Karachi.

Initially, Biman Bangladesh Airlines has been allowed to operate flights for three months, i.e., until March 30, 2026.

Biman Airlines will have to operate on the scheduled routes within Pakistan’s airspace.

According to the announcement, complete flight information must be provided to the Karachi Airport Administration before departing from Dhaka to Karachi.
