ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Wednesday reduced the petrol and diesel prices for September 24, a day after the price of fuel prices were lowered.
According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was lowered by Rs 1.93 per liter and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 4.21 per liter.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for September 24, 2026,” the notification stated.
With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 390.12 per liter and diesel at Rs 414.75 per liter.
On September 22, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) reduced the petrol price to Rs 392.05 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 418.96 per liter.
The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
