OGRA raises petrol, diesel prices again for Sep 17

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The federal government on Wednesday hiked the petrol and diesel prices for September 17, making it a third consecutive increase this week.

According to the notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol was increased by Rs 6.88 per liter, and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs 6.41 per liter.

“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has revised the ex-depot prices of the petroleum products for September 17, 2026,” the notification stated.

With the latest revision, the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 391.22 per liter and diesel at Rs 421.45 per liter.

On September 15, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) hiked the petrol price to Rs 384.34 per liter and the diesel price to Rs 415.83 per liter.

The revised prices are in line with the government’s ongoing policy of issuing fuel prices on a daily basis from Monday to Friday based on international oil markets.
