ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The German government’s official “Make it in Germany” online platform offers skilled and qualified Pakistani citizens a chance to find employment in Germany.
The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment says Pakistani job seekers can use the portal to find details on available jobs in different sectors.
Career options include IT, engineering, nursing, medicine, science and skilled trades. Interested candidates can look up the vacancies according to their educational qualification, skills, and work experience.
Applicants need to have the relevant educational and professional qualifications for the job they have applied for. They also have to make sure all their educational qualifications, work experience and other documents are complete and valid.
Pakistani citizens who wish to work in Germany have to also fulfil the requirements of the work visa that is applicable to their country of origin. In some professions, an employment contract must be obtained prior to traveling to Germany.
The German mission in Pakistan has urged the would-be jobseekers to get information from official sources regarding jobs, visa requirements and recognition of academic qualifications.
The job-seekers have also been cautioned not to trust agents that have not been verified or unofficial websites and to thoroughly research all employment and visa requirements prior to submitting an application.
