RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): The Director General of Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has announced in a press conference that the office of the Chief of Defence Forces and Headquarters Warfare have become fully functional.
He made it clear that there should be no ambiguity in politics and military affairs now, and the army will keep its work separate from political narratives. General Ahmed Sharif said that no narrative will work now; keep your politics away from us.
DG ISPR said that you may seduce some people, but not all, and politics does not allow meeting the military leadership for any political or personal interest. He stressed that no one will be allowed to create a rift between the Pakistani armed forces and the people.
He warned that the time for negative propaganda is over for anyone who attacks the army or its leadership, and he will have to face failure.
According to the DG ISPR, the Pakistan Army will remain engaged in its responsibilities for the security of the country and serving the people and will not tolerate any kind of sedition or chaos.
