RIYADH (Kashmir English): The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has issued a clarification regarding the Hajj and Umrah ban in 14 Countries, stating that the news spread online is completely fake and no ban has been imposed on any country.
The Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry made it clear that the recent visa restrictions are part of the yearly preparations for the Hajj season, which will be applied to all nationalities worldwide and not targetingcertain countries.
In contrast to social media speculations, Saudi Arabia has not suspended visas for 14 nations, including Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. The measures won’t extend to family or business visas.
This news has been confirmed by the Saudi government, requestingthat people do not circulate false information that might harm therelationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Additionally, legal action will be taken against those who spread such misinformation. More information will be shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Saudi authorities after April 6.
