LAHORE (Kashmir English): In a recent development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to nine Pakistani cricketers, allowing them to participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) season 2026.
According to the updated list issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the nine players who got NOC include Muhammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, and Sahibzada Farhan. Apart from them, NOCs have also been issued to Hussain Talat, Ehsanullah, Haider Ali, Abrar Ahmed, Khawaja Nafi, and Salman Irshad.
It should be noted that the Bangladesh Premier League will start from December 26, 2025, and continue until January 24, 2026.
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is a professional T20 cricket league in Bangladesh, organized by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The league is played in the form of T20 matches between different franchise teams and provides an opportunity for national and international cricketers to play at a professional level.
BPL 2026 will begin in December 2025 and will continue till January 24, 2026. A total of 34 matches will be played in this edition, which includes all the matches of the league stage along with the play-off matches, namely Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the final.
Initially, BPL 2026 was scheduled for the beginning of the year, but due to the Bangladesh general elections and the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, it has been shifted to the December–January slot.
