ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Four newly elected members of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Council took the oath at the Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is chairman of the AJK Council, administered the oath, while other senior officials attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was attended by AJK President Dr. Najeeb Naqi, Prime Minister Iftikhar Gilani, Kashmir Affairs Minister Amir Muqam, and Speaker of the AJK Legislative Assembly Tariq Farooq.
The members who took the oath were Chaudhry Latif Akbar, Raja Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, and Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed.
