ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Pakistan has joined hands with Takamul of Saudi Arabia to roll out the Skill Verification Program (SVP), which is a must for Pakistani skilled laborers who want to work in the KSA.
The workers coming from Pakistan must take and pass the Takamul SVP test as a way of verifying that they are up to the mark in skill sets for different jobs.
The National Vocational & Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) is the primary entity that assists the stakeholders involved in executing the program. The official SVP International portal at https://svp-international.pacc.sa/auth/register is where the applicants can go to register for the skill certificate.
Creating a profile with personal and professional details, choosing the assessment center, trade, and exam date, downloading the roll number slip, and showing up for the test on the given date, time, and place are the steps that all applicants must take to complete their profiles.
A fee of $50, around PKR 14,100, is charged for the Takamul Skill Verification Certificate. The results and certificates of the candidates who pass the test will be uploaded to the portal within 24 hours.
This program works towards attracting Pakistani workers who are not only skilled but also certified for the given positions in Saudi Arabia, thus increasing the hiring options as well as satisfying the professional standards of the Kingdom.
