ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has outlined the procedure for citizens to update their identity card photographs and permanent addresses from the comfort of their homes using the Pak-ID mobile app.
According to NADRA, citizens can log in to the Pak-ID app, navigate to the ‘Identity Card’ option on the home screen, and initiate the application process.
When applying, select ‘Self’ for your own identity card, or ‘My Blood Relative’ if applying on behalf of a blood relative.
Next, select the identity card renewal option, modify the required details, and submit the application after completing all the steps.
According to NADRA, the new version of the Pak-ID app allows citizens to obtain, store, and share the digital identity cards of their spouses and eligible children alongside their own.
The app features a ‘Scan QR Code’ option to verify ‘Form-B’ or identity card cancellation certificates; scanning the digital QR code allows users to view the verified information.
Additionally, the new version of the Pak-ID app provides a facility for biometric verification regarding influenza and meningitis vaccinations for citizens traveling for Hajj or Umrah.
