MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): The protestors in Muzaffarabad have rejected the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Hundreds of citizens, led by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, participated in the protest, waving black flags and holding banners with anti-India and anti-Modi slogans.

Protesters raised slogans such as “Killer Killer Modi Killer” and “Jis Kashmir ko Khon Se Sancha Wo Kashmir Hamara Hai”, emphasizing their rejection of Indian rule in the region.

The protest was led by Chairman Pasban Hurriyat Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Vice Chairman Usman Ali Hashim, and Raja Gul Zareen of Jamaat-e-Islami, among others.

Vice Chairman Ghazali emphasized the Kashmiri people’s demand for the right to self-determination from the United Nations and rejected India’s forced military rule.

“The people of Jammu and Kashmir want freedom from India,” and “India should abandon its stubbornness and implement the resolutions of the Security Council to resolve the Kashmir issue,” he said.

Furthermore, he added that the people of Jammu and Kashmir demand the right to self-determination from the United Nations.

“A just solution to the Kashmir issue has become necessary for the establishment of lasting peace in South Asia,” Ghazali stated.
