MUZAFFARABAD (Kashmir English): Muzaffarabad Police, intensifying operations against thieves and kidnappers, arrested five suspects and recovered a missing girl and stolen goods worth hundreds of thousands of rupees.
According to the police spokesperson, DSP Patika (Naseerabad) Raja Akhtar Khan led the operations, accompanied by SHO Iftikhar Ahmed, ASI Police Station Panjgran Kashif Khan, and the police team.
SHO Panjgran Police Station took swift action on the disappearance of a minor girl.
The police team traced and recovered the missing and arrested two accused, Sultan and Faisal, within 24 hours using modern technology.
Furthermore, the police, in another operation, recovered three stolen motorcycles worth Rs 360,000 from the accused, Saqlain alias Tappa and Nasir Bashir.
Moreover, wires worth Rs 108,000 were recovered from the accused, Suleman, who had cut and hidden them for sale. The total value of stolen goods recovered amounts to Rs. 4,68,000.
“The police are working to ensure that those involved in anti-social activities face justice,” the police statement added.
