Muslim Hands announces 100 scholarships for University of Haveli students

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Muslim Hands has announced 100 scholarships for students of the University of Haveli.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between the University of Haveli and Muslim Hands was held at Jammu and Kashmir House, Islamabad.

Under this MoU, Muslim Hands will provide 100 scholarships for students of the University.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Country Head Muslim Hands Khalid Geelani, Vice Chancellor University of Haveli Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Principal Secretary Zafar Mahmood Khan, Political Assistant Syed Azadar Hussain Kazmi, PSO Usman Mumtaz Butt, Syed Aftab Bukhari CEO HRSP, Zartash Afzal Manager Muslim Hands Pakistan, and Khurram Naik Assistant Registrar University of Haveli.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Khalid Geelani, Country Director of Muslim Hands, and Khawaja Farooq Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of the University of Haveli.

Meanwhile, Khalid Geelani, Country Director of Muslim Hands, met with the Prime Minister along with his delegation.

Scholarships important for promotion of education

During the discussion, Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore said that such steps are very important for the promotion of education.

He said that the government is taking all possible measures to promote quality education and provide better opportunities for the youth.

The Prime Minister welcomed the provision of scholarships by Muslim Hands, stating that it will help students from Haveli pursue higher education and enable them to play a positive role in the development of society.

He further said that the government is promoting collaboration between educational institutions and welfare organizations to empower the younger generation.
