BHIMBER (Kashmir English): In a tragic incident in Kas Chanatar, within the limits of City Police Station Bhimber, a mother, allegedly along with a friend, killed her three innocent children and buried them.
Later, she started living with her friend. Upon information from the husband, Punjab Police raided Kas Chanatar and arrested the woman along with her friend.
Based on their identification, the police recovered the dead bodies of all three innocent children from a drain.
According to police sources, the accused Babar, a resident of Kas Chanatar, allegedly had illicit relations with a woman from Sarai Alamgir, an area in Punjab.
The said woman came to Kas Chanatar with her three children. According to Punjab Police, the accused Babar and the woman, in mutual collusion, killed all three children and buried them in the ground.
A case of the incident has been registered at Sadar Police Station Sarai Alamgir on the complaint of the woman’s husband.
Accused arrested from Bhimber
After the case was registered, Punjab Police took immediate action and arrested both accused from Bhimber.
Punjab Police, with the cooperation of Bhimber Police, recovered the allegedly buried bodies of the children from the hilly areas of Kas Chanatar, Bhimber.
Police said that among the deceased children are a 6-year-old girl and 2 young boys.
According to police officials, investigations into every aspect of the incident are ongoing, and further progress is expected based on evidence, while action will be taken to ensure strict punishment for those involved according to the law.
