ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Speaking to an audience today, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated that new administrative units will most likely be created and that he supports the idea of creating a province in Islamabad.

According to him, one person, a government, or a party must not be strong enough to decide everything, and the system must be reset as executive authorities keep changing.

Naqvi commented on how people like Zohran Mamdani and Muhammad Sadiq keep coming into the picture no matter what.

According to Mohsin Naqvi, Islamabad has no say in any provincial budget. He raised a question about the equality of the citizens of the city with other provinces of the country. He maintained that Islamabad should be considered in the case of the establishment of new administrative units.

Mohsin Naqvi further stated that the decision regarding the establishment of new provinces should be left to the people of the country. He said that citizens must be allowed to exercise their constitutional right to decide the matter.

He also mentioned the speech of Hamid Mir regarding new provinces, saying that new provinces are worth considering.
