Mohammad Rizwan achieves another milestone in ODI cricket

RAWALPINDI (Kashmir English): Pakistan cricket team wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan achieved another milestone in One-Day International (ODI) cricket in Rawalpindi game on Sunday.

On Sunday, Rizwan completed 100 matches in the ODI format. Before the start of the third and final ODI match of the series against Sri Lanka, a ceremony was held on the field for Mohammad Rizwan for completing 100 ODI Internationals.

During the ceremony, Head Coach Mike Hesson, said that Mohammad Rizwan has always shown energy on the ground. “Rizwan has a desire to play for Pakistan.”

On this occasion, Naseem Shah presented Mohammad Rizwan with the cap for his 100th One-Day International match, while teammates congratulated Rizwan on achieving this milestone. Mohammad Rizwan has scored 2921 runs in 100 ODI matches.

It is worth noting that in the third and final ODI, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets to complete a clean sweep in the series.

The Sri Lankan team, batting first, was bowled out for 211 runs in the 46th over. Pakistan easily chased down the target with the loss of 4 wickets.

For Pakistan, Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan scored half-centuries. Fakhar was out after scoring 55 runs, while Mohammad Rizwan remained unbeaten with 61 runs. Hussain Talat played an unbeaten innings of 43 runs.
