MIRPUR (Kashmir English): The family of Shehryar Shakeel, a minor student of the eighth standard, has alleged that a false and baseless case was registered against their son at the Thothal Police Station in Mirpur.
According to Shakeel Ahmed and Zakia Bibi, the parents of the accused, their son was framed in a fight case during Ramadan on the orders of influential people.
Addressing a press conference at Mirpur Press Club, the minor’s parents said that their son has now been sent to jail after being remanded for fourteen days.
The accused’s parents said that they have not been heard despite providing evidence to the DIG, SSP, and DSP.
The family alleged that Muhammad Rizwan, a resident of Samahni, used his influence to manipulate the investigation and also made fake medical reports. We have filed a petition to re-conduct the medical reports.
The family sought re-investigation and justice, urging higher authorities to take notice of the case.
