ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): The social media users across Pakistan have been criticizing Raftar TV owner Farhan Malick for sharing false propaganda news on its channel regarding the May 2025 war between Pakistan and India.

The social media across all platforms, including X, formerly known as Twitter, have been demanding that the authorities arrest Farhan Malick.

The video of the false propaganda has been widely shared on social media platforms, where citizens have demanded strong action against Raftar TV for spreading misinformation and propaganda.

The video has also been widely spread by anti-state and Indian accounts to malign the state institution.

“Raftar has long been anti-Pakistan, but obviously they have high-level protection…. Anyone else would have been caught and closed by now,” senior politician Dewan Sachal writes.

Additionally, a social media user has tagged Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to look into the matter, while others write that someone has to stop the Raftar Tv.

Some people are linking the narrative of Raftar TV to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that Raftar TV’s statements publicise the agenda of PTI. According to social media users, Farhan Malick supported a political agenda rather than the ethics of journalism.

No individual or media house is beyond accountability. Allegations demand transparent investigation and due process truth strengthens institutions, not silence, another social media user stated on X.
