HATTIAN BALA (Kashmir English): The Civil Society of Hattian Bala organized a massive protest demonstration against Indian Water aggression.
The large scale protest was led by former assembly candidate and vice president of Tehreek-e-Insaf, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Syed Zeeshan Haider raised various slogans against the Indian government.
The participants in the demonstration raised strong slogans against India, like “Terrorist, terrorist, Modi government is terrorist,” which could be heard, while the protesters completely blocked the Srinagar highway for all types of traffic.
Addressing the protest demonstration, Syed Zeeshan Haider said that “India is the eternal enemy of Pakistan, and the ongoing Indian oppression and repression in occupied Kashmir is a clear proof of its heinous policies.
He added that the Kashmiri people have made unparalleled sacrifices for freedom, and this struggle will not be abandoned at any cost.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Taimur Baig, President Anjuman Tajran Syed Faisal Gilani, and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leader Khalid Niazi and other political and social figures also spoke on the occasion.
Senior journalist Adnan Fatemi presented a unanimous resolution in favor of Pakistan and against India, which was approved by the protesters with loud slogans.
Syed Zeeshan Haider gave a clear message to the enemy, saying, “We want to tell the enemy that the war will continue until the day Kashmir is liberated. Every soldier of Pakistan, every youth, and every patriotic Pakistani stands with us. Our final destination is Srinagar.”
The protesters raised their voices against India’s water aggression and the ongoing human rights violations in occupied Kashmir, and demanded that the international community take notice of Indian atrocities and play its role in giving the Kashmiri people their right to self-determination.
The demonstration ended with enthusiastic slogans of Pakistan Zindabad and Kashmir Banega Pakistan.
