KOTLI (Kashmir English): Azad Kashmir Police on Friday arrested a man for allegedly sexually abusing a minor student of a madrasa in Darlia Gujran village of Kotli district.
According to the police statement, Zahid, a resident of Sahansa, was taken into custody after the incident was reported in the jurisdiction of Nar Police Station.
The arrest was made by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sadar Kotli, Mohammad Shahzad Chaudhry, following swift action.
Police said that an investigation has been launched against the accused, and further legal proceedings are underway.
