ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad Police have introduced a new social media policy for all officers and personnel, imposing restrictions on the use of social media platforms and the sharing of content related to the department.
According to the policy, police officers and personnel of all ranks will be prohibited from using social media in ways that violate departmental rules. Making or sharing videos and photographs of police personnel in uniform has also been restricted.
The policy prohibits the use of police uniforms for personal promotion, publicity, fame or glamour. Officers and personnel have also been barred from making videos while wearing uniform in government vehicles, offices or private locations.
