LEEPA VALLEY (Kashmir English): Leepa Valley snowfall has caused severe destruction by toppling trees onto homes, destroying several houses but causing no casualties, as the Pakistan Army and local volunteers continue relief efforts.

Constant snowstorms in Leepa Valley Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) have destroyed the entire region through heavy snow accumulation. Heavy snow volumes have damaged tree roots so that large trees topple down onto residences, destroying several houses. The damaged region has been declared safe due to absent casualties yet numerous families face major complications in their home recovery efforts.

Severe winter weather created such dangerous conditions that daily activities became very difficult for the residents. Many residents had to move away from their homes to live with relatives because their residences either collapsed or faced major destruction from the storm. Messy snow accumulations have made rescue operations more difficult since they block transportation routes and interrupt movement patterns inside the valley area.

The Pakistan Army alongside local volunteers have established relief operations because of this crisis to help families who need assistance. The rescue personnel are dedicated to removing debris from the disaster site while clearing blocked pathways and distributing vital assistance which includes food and shelter to people in need. The military and local volunteers fight against adverse weather conditions to deliver aid to protect the most vulnerable groups.

Local reports confirm that several houses have collapsed entirely and numerous more dwellings remain exposed to potential structural failure. The local population shows concern about future snow accumulation because damaged buildings struggle to bear the added weight of additional rain and falling trees.

The authorities have issued warnings to residents about dangerous sites, which primarily include weakened tree areas and broken buildings. Emergency response forces operate under heightened readiness conditions as personnel work throughout the day to offer support and protect residents.

The people of Leepa Valley demonstrate strength and hope because relief operations promise to assist their recovery from snow-related destruction throughout this harsh season.
