Kuwait, Pakistan reaffirm friendly ties in Eid phone call

ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made a telephone call to Kuwait’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, to extend warm Eid greetings and convey his best wishes for the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Eid day one.

The Kuwaiti Crown Prince responded with warmth and shared his good wishes for the people of Pakistan. He also reaffirmed that efforts to further strengthen the friendship between the two countries would continue.

During their conversation, both leaders prayed for peace, security, and prosperity across the Muslim world. Prime Minister Shehbaz thanked the Crown Prince for Kuwait’s support in encouraging dialogue between Pakistan and India.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan has always stood for peace in the region and invited the Crown Prince to visit Pakistan officially. The invitation was accepted.

Both sides also agreed on the importance of improving trade ties and boosting investment opportunities. Prime Minister Shehbaz offered special thanks to the Kuwaiti leadership for easing visa processes for Pakistani citizens.
