KOTLI (Kashmir English): Kotli District Council on Monday approved development projects worth millions under the Annual Development Program for the fiscal year 2024-25.
As per details, a meeting of the district council was held under the chairmanship of District Council Chairman Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, where it approved the allocation of Rs 104.400 million for development projects in the district.
Each elected member of the District Council was allocated Rs 1.8 million for development projects in their respective areas.
The institution is implementing rules for the development projects, and the proposed projects will be approved against the allocated amount, the government notification said.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Abdul Ghafoor Javed stated that the provision of funds and development at the grassroots level is the priority of the Chaudhry Anwarul Haq government.
The availability of funds to the members of the District Council will help in solving urban problems in rural areas.
