KURRAM (Kashmir English): At least five Khawarij were killed as they attacked a security forces convoy in Central Kurram on Monday, security sources said.
According to sources, the security forces foiled a cowardly attack in Central Kurram, rather, killed five Khawarij in retaliatory fire. Khawarij fled, leaving behind the bodies of their accomplices.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. Sanitization operation is underway by security forces for complete clearance of the area, the sources said.
