Babar Azam reaches 12,000 T20 runs

Peshawar Zalmi captain and national team batsman Babar Azam has become the fastest to score 12,000 runs in T20 cricket, surpassing West Indies’ aggressive batsman Chris Gayle.

According to details, Chris Gayle scored 12,000 runs in 345 innings of T20 cricket, which Babar Azam broke in 338 innings. The Pakistani star batsman achieved this milestone during a match against Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Other prominent batsmen in the world in this list include India’s Virat Kohli, who achieved this target in 360 innings, while Australia’s David Warner completed 12,000 runs in 368 innings. Babar Azam has now come to the top of the list.

It is also worth mentioning that Babar Azam is the second Pakistani player to score 12,000 runs in T20 cricket. Earlier, this honor was held by Shoaib Malik, who has scored a total of 13,571 runs in this format in his career.

Babar Azam’s consistent performance, technical skills, and ability to score runs in different conditions have made him one of the best T20 batsmen in the world.

His achievement is being considered a great honor not only for Peshawar Zalmi but also for Pakistan cricket, which will further strengthen the standard of Pakistani batting at the international level.
