ISLAMABAD (Kashmir English): Islamabad Police SSP Captain (retd) Hamza Humayun on Thursday dismissed a “fake and misleading” video circulating on social media that purportedly shows him making remarks about the Sarhad University incident.
In a clarification posted on his X account, Hamza Humayun said the video was being circulated as part of negative propaganda and did not reflect the facts.
He said the content attributed to him had been presented out of context and from what he described as an incorrect perspective.
According to the SSP, certain parts of the circulating video were selectively portrayed in a misleading manner to create negative propaganda.

Hamza Humayun said he reserved the right to take legal action against those responsible for spreading material that he described as false, misleading, and taken out of context.
He added that necessary legal proceedings would be initiated against those involved in circulating the allegedly fabricated or misleading content.
The clarification came after a video surfaced on social media following the Sarhad University incident, purportedly claiming to show SSP Operations Islamabad speaking off the record with journalists.
